The Lords Chips

8 Jul

Stealing my recipe title from Nacho Libre and his obsession with chips!

I am a tortilla chip lover but I never buy them considering I work at a Mexican restaurant. Last night I HAD to  guacamole and wasn’t about to go to the grocery store and buy some, so I made my own. They were delicious!

For this recipe you will need –

  • 4 flour tortillas – any size but I used Fajita style
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt
  • Lime juice [optional]

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brush a light layer of Olive Oil onto the tortillas and cut into either triangles or whatever shape you like. I cut my tortillas the long way because you get alot more when you scoop salsa or guacamole. Arrange the tortillas on a cookie sheet, sprinkle salt and squeeze lime onto tortillas and bake about 10 minutes, until edges are brown and tortilla is no longer flimsy. Make sure you flip them only once. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or hummus and enjoy.
